Massimino “Marcellus” Pighi

Mishawaka - Marcellus Pighi, aged 59, 105 East Ninth Street, died suddenly of a heart attack at 5 p.m. Monday in his home.

 

Mr. Pighi who has been in the poultry and egg business here for many years, was born March 17, 1887 in Piacenza, Italy. He came here from Italy in May, 1905.

 

He married Miss Delfina Buschi in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church here on April 12, 1908.

 

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs Earl Zehring, of South Bend; two sons, Albert Pighi at home, and John Pighi of rural route No. 2, Mishawaka and one brother Albert Pighi in Italy.

 

Friends may call at the residence after 5 p.m. today.

 

Funeral rites will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Rev. George Lauer will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
