FRANK LEMON PINK

 

Frank Lemon Pink aged 80, of 226 East Sample Street, died in his residence at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday after 12 days illness. He was born in Rising Sun, Ind., Feb 8, 1861, and came here 24 years ago from Cincinnati, Ohio. He was married in 1882 in rising Sun to Miss Laura Leona Vosburg, who survives. He leaves also six daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Whiteman, Mrs. Harry Kinner, Mrs Frank Chambers, Mrs. Floyd Chambers, and Mrs. Harold Korkhouse, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Arthur Wile of Cincinnati; three sons, Frank and William Pink both of South Bend and John Pink of Cincinnati; 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Friends will be received tonight in the Forest G. Hay funeral home and until the funeral there at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev Harvey J. Kieser, pastor of Grace Methodist church will officiate with the burial in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park
