LAURA LEONA PINK

 

  Mrs. Leona Laura Pink, 410 E. Kern Road, Center Township died Tuesday night in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Kinner, with whom she resided for the last year. She was ill two weeks. She was born in Hamilton County, Ohio, July 9, 1864 and came here in 1917 from Cincinnati, Ohio. She was married in Rising Sun, Indiana in 1882 to Frank L Pink, who died here in 1941. She leaves five other daughters, Mrs. Florence Whiteman, of Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Helen Wile, of Cincinnati, Mrs. Clara Chambers of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Mrs. Harold Korkhouse and Mrs. Floyd Chambers, both of South Bend. Three sons, William of South Bend, Frank of Osceola and John S. of Cincinnati; 25 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Forest G Hay Funeral Home, where the funeral will take place at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the St. Joe. Valley Memorial Park. She was a member of the Ris8ing Sun Circle 12, Daughters of America.

Rev. Robert L. Cox pastor of Southlawn Evangelical United Brethren Church will officiate.
