August 24, 1908 – January 14, 2005

Mary M. Pinter, 96, of St Paul’s Retirement Community, formerly of Aspen Way, South Bend, died Friday afternoon, January 14, in St Paul’s.

Mary retired in 1984 as a bookkeeper for United Heating & Plumbing, South Bend, for 60 years.  She was born August 24, 1908, in South Bend, to Louis and Magdalena (Molnar) Pinter, who preceded her in death along with four sisters, Yolanda Hedl, Amelia Gramenz, Anna Niemann and Irene Bella.

Surviving is a brother, Louis Pinter of South Bend.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am Tuesday, January 18, in St Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, where Mary has been a member.  Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Friends may call from 3 to 7pm Monday in the Hickey Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd., where a Rosary will be said at 4pm.
