Rita Claire Plough
Nov. 30, 1932 - May 10, 2001

Mishawaka, IN — Rita Claire Plough, 68 years old, residing on Oak Leaf Court, Mishawaka, passed away after an extended illness at 8:32 A.M. on Thursday, May 10, 2001, at the Elkhart General Hospital. Mr. Plough was born on November 30, 1932, in Vincennes, IN, to the late Austin and Blanche (Borden) Bilskie. She has been a resident of the Michiana area since 1950. On December 31, 1952, in Vincennes, she married Fred L. Plough who preceded in death on May 19, 1994.

Mrs. Plough retired in 1997 from Kroger Grocery Store, Pierre-Moran Branch, as a clerk. She was a member of the Little Flower Catholic Church in South Bend. Rita loved life which centered around her family. She loved her grandchildren dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and James Berger of Mishawaka, and three grandchildren, Sarah Nichelle Lehman, Jarrod Russell Berger, and Jakob Austin Berger, all at home.

The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at the Little Flower Catholic Church, South Bend. Rev. Don Guertin, CSC, will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Monday, May 14th, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola, where a wake service will be held at 3:30 P.M.
