Catherine Poletti

Mishawaka – Mrs. Catherine Poletti, 76 of 1213 S. Main Street, died of an apparent heart attack Sunday night in St. Joseph Hospital, where she was taken a short time before in the city ambulance. She had been in ill health for a year. Born in Perth, Ind., on Feb. 25, 1892, and she had lived for 48 years in Mishawaka coming from Universal, Ind. in 1920.

As Catherine Benzo, she married Eugene Poletti in 1911. He died in 1961. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Leo Ceriesi, Mrs. Nino Zanotti and Mrs. Clara Kodla of Mishawaka; two brothers, Dom Sciacero and Ernest Sciacero; a sister, Mrs. Mary Hardin, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the DeVos Funeral Chapel.
