SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Sarah Pomeranz, 90, of Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, passed away of natural causes at 11:10 p.m. April 28th in St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born on September 23, 1917, in South Bend, to Isaac and Rose Goldner.

 

She was married for over 60 years to Abraham H. Pomeranz. Mrs. Pomeranz is survived by a son, Tom (Diane) Pomeranz, and a daughter, Barbara (Carlos) Goldberg, all of Indianapolis; a sister, Blanche Rosenberg of South Bend; three granddaughters, Amy (Eric) Essley and Laura (Brian) Crum of Indianapolis, Heather (#1SG Ronald) Taylor of Anchorage, Alaska; great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Rylan Crum, Maxwell and Phineas Essley of Indianapolis and Delaney Taylor of Anchorage, Alaska; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held today at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, on the corner of Jefferson and Logan, Mishawaka, IN (enter on Calhoun Street, one block east of Logan, south off Jefferson).
