MISHAWAKA - Tammy Lynn Porman, 43, passed away Wednesday morning, April 2, 2008. She was born on July 21, 1964, in South Bend, IN to Wiley and Mary (Werntz) Somers and was a lifelong resident. Tammy is survived by her children, Crystal (Jarvis Long) Porman and Michael Porman, and their father, Phil Porman all of Culver; her companion, Marc Petersen of Mishawaka; one grandson, Gage Long of Culver; her mother, Mary Somers of Mishawaka; a sister, Wanita Somers of Mishawaka; and three brothers, Tracy (Patty) Somers and Timothy Somers both of Mishawaka and John Somers of North Liberty. Her father, Wiley Somers and four brothers, William, Wiley, Charles and Tom Somers preceded her in death. Tammy was a member of Granger Missionary Church. She was currently employed at Superior Piece Parts, Inc., Mishawaka.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008, at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend. Rev. Earl Smith, pastor of Granger Missionary Church will officiate.
