SOUTH BEND - Harriet S. Powers, 94, of Canon City, Colo., formerly of South Bend, died Oct. 1 in her home of natural causes. Mrs. Powers was born July 17, 1900, in South Bend.

On June 14, 1921, as Harriet McNabb, she married Daniel E. Powers. He died in 1960. She is survived by two daughters, Helen Koehler of Sun City, Ariz., and Patricia Cover of Canon City; three sons, George and Paul J., both of Sun City, and Richard of South Bend; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Highland Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Burial will follow. Holt Family Funeral Home, Canon City, handled arrangements.
