Annabelle Probst

Aug. 30, 1926 - April 23, 2001

Annabelle (Kratz) Probst, 74, of Lancaster, Calif., entered the Kingdom of Heaven on April 23, 2001.

She was born to Fred and Marie Kratz on Aug. 30, 1926, in Allegan, Mich., was raised in New Carlisle and graduated from New Carlisle High School in 1944. She married Willard L. Probst on Sept. 22, 1945. Ann loved her family with her whole heart, being daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was always willing to help anyone if she could make things better for them.

She was preceded in death by twin children, Patrick Allen and Pamela Ann; a sister, Dorothy Biggs; and her brothers, William Kratz and Robert Miller.

She is survived by her husband, Willard Probst; son, Michael Probst; daughters, Sharon Wickstrom and husband, Kenneth, Nancy Garcia and husband, Thomas, and Pattie Stockwell and husband, Dale; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Kratz and Kenneth Kratz; sisters, Marquerite Williams, Irene Geiger, Katherine Blasko and Lillian Kratz; and by numerous nephews and nieces.

A memorial service was held for family and friends at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, in the recreation hall at 44960 Cedar Street, Lancaster, Calif.
