SOUTH BEND - Carla Ann Proby, 36, dearly beloved mother,
sister, cousin, and friend of South Bend, passed away on
Saturday, Nov. 1 in her home. Carla was born April 18, 1972 in
Flint, MI. Carla was born to Eugene Anderson and Pauline
Proby. Carla was raised by her aunt and uncle, Jimmy and Rosie Scales.
Carla live a full, rich and enjoyable life, she had no regrets.
She brought joy to everyone who knew her. To know Carla was to
know she was a loving, kind, caring, and generously giving
person. Carla leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Deontoni Brown,
Gary Porby, Aaron Proby and Jamere McCaster; three
daughters, Miracle Green, Sha Carla Proby and La'Maria Simon.
Carla had a host of brothers and sisters including, Selina Kirk,
Antonio Anderson, Karen Anderson, Fidale (Elayne) Anderson,
Darnell Jones and Penny Anderson. Preceding her in death
was her daughter, Lamai Proby; a special cousin, Eddie Scales;
her paternal grandmother, Janie B. Anderson; paternal
grandfather, George Anderson, aunt, Osie Lee Anderson.
Funeral services for Ms. Carla Ann Proby will be held at Clark-O'Neal. Visitation will start at 11:30 followed by the services at 12:30. Burial services will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery.
