Mr. Antoine DeWayne Pruitt, Loving Son, Brother and Grandson, 23, of South Walnut Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Friday morning, July 30, 1999, at his residence. Antoine who was born on Jan. 7, 1976, in South Bend, Ind., to the parents of Maria Morrell and David Pruitt, leaves to cherish his loving memory, a daughter, Lakajha Pruitt; his father, David Pruitt; his mother, Maria Morrell; a sister, Latoya Pruitt; three brothers, Cory, David Jr., and Vincent Pruitt; maternal grandparents, Charles and Ophelia Morrell; paternal grandmother, Ethel Pruitt; maternal great-grandmother, Amanda Cole; paternal great-grandmother, Alisha James; a godfather, Anthony Dewayne Douglas; and his girlfriend, Zulekha Wilson, all of South Bend; and his godmother, Mary Winters of Cleveland, Miss.; along with a host of relatives and friends. His paternal grandfather, Rev. Minor Pruitt, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 5, 1999, at 1 p.m. in Alford's Mortuary with visitation occurring one hour prior to services.
