SOUTH BEND – Edith M. “Woody” Przestwor, 62, of North Ryer Street, died at 3:13pm Saturday in Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Przestwor was a surgery nursing supervisor at Memorial Hospital for more than thirty years.

She was born May 4, 1932, in Leiters Ford.  On June 23, 1954, as Edith M. Woodcox, she married Stanley Przestwor. He survives with a daughter, Cathy Bianaka of Carmel IN; two sons, Stephen and Douglas, both of South Bend; six grandchildren; a sister, Martha Jean Melvin of Columbia City IN; and three brothers, Melvin Woodcox, David Woodcox and Lonnie Woodcox, all of Rochester.  She was a member of Association of Operating Room Nurses.

Services will be at 11am Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3402 Lincoln Way W.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm Tuesday in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
