Joseph A. Przestwor Jr.
Jan. 22, 1926 - Aug. 10, 2006

Joseph Anthony Przestwor Jr., 80, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2006, in Countryside Place Nursing and Rehabilitation of Mishawaka.

Joseph was born on January 22, 1926, in South Bend, Indiana, to Joseph and Theresa (Kitkowski) Przestwor, Sr.

Joseph owned and operated his own TV repair service and was known as "TV Joe." He had also been employed with Magnum Security, Wells Electronic, Mossberg and Company Printers, and was a movie projectionist with the former South Bend Theater. Joseph was an Army veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict where he received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion, Post #161, Mishawaka, Indiana, and the D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) Chapter 39, South Bend, Indiana.

Surviving are his children, James Jacobson of Santa Monica, California, Jody Rodriquez of Worth, Illinois, and Theresa L. (Douglas) Casad of Lakeville, Indiana; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM today, August 13, 2006, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana. Graveside services will be at 11 AM Monday, August 14, 2006, at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana, with military honors.
