Stanley Przestwor Jr.

March 25, 1924 - June 18, 1994

SOUTH BEND – Stanley Przestwor Jr., 70, of 653 S. Clearview Place, died about 5:08am Saturday in his home, of an illness.  Mr. Przestwor was employed by Allied Signal and was formerly employed by Town and Country Gates as a service manager.

He was born Mach 25, 1924, in South Bend, and returned to this area in 1987 from Nashville TN.  On June 28, 1976, in Clarksville TN, he married Maxine Barrier.  She survives with two stepdaughters, Janet Gennicks of Mishawaka and Carolyn Smith of Osceola; three stepsons, Richard Barrier of Elkhart, Jesse Barrier of Mishawaka, and David Barrier of South Bend; 12 step grandchildren; a step great grandchild; a sister, Martha Crane of Salina UT; and a brother, Bert Przestwor of South Bend.  Mr. Przestwor was a mandolin player for The Original Barrier Brothers Band.  He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 10am Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.  Friends may call from 6 to 8pm Monday in the funeral home.
