SOUTH BEND - Ardath Pullman, 79, of Brick Road, died at 9 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Pullman was born Sept. 16, 1915, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Oct. 1, 1943, in South Bend, as Ardath Rose, she married Michael J. Pullman. He died in 1973. She is survived by two daughters, Marsha Pullman of South Bend and Barbara Murphy of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth Barna of South Bend, Lucille Schell of Nunica, Mich., Jean Ballard of Dowagiac and Melba Stone of Edmond, Okla.; and two brothers, Kenneth Rose and Robert Rose, both of Niles. She was a graduate of House of James Beauty College and a member of Izaak Walton League.

Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
