Emma Agnes Pullman

SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Emma Agnes Pullman, 62, 725 S. Columbia Street, died at 4 a.m. today in her residence after an illness of two months. She was born Mar. 15, 1893 in Sopron Mege, Csorna, Hungary, and came to South Bend 40 years ago from Hungary.

 

In 1910 she was married to Michael Pullman who died in 1931. The mother of 15 children, she is survived by 12 of them; seven daughters, Mrs. Helen Manuszak, Mrs. Julia Vandriessche, Mrs. Agnes Mejier,  Mrs. Irene Bickel, And Misses Josephine, Mary, and Margaret Pullman; five sons, Michael, Carl, Anthony, John and Frank, all of South Bend, and 18 grandchildren.

 

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. James Burroughs, pastor of Stull Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Holy Trinity Hungarian Cemetery.
