SOUTH BEND - Carolyn Jane Quick, 70, of 35th Street, died at 3:42 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Quick retired in 1991 from C.R. Campbell Heating & Air Conditioning as a bookkeeper after 22 years of service. She was born Nov. 26, 1924, in Peru, Ind., and lived in South Bend since 1943.

On April 1, 1945, in Fort Wayne, as Carolyn Fisher, she married Charles A. Quick. He survives with a daughter, Emma Louise Quick of South Bend; a son, Bruce G. of South Bend; two grandchildren; a sister, Martha J. Swigart of Fort Wayne; a brother, Donald Fisher of Fort Wayne; and a stepbrother, Ralph Richard of Fort Wayne. A son, Boyd P., died Oct. 18, 1992. She was a member of Ridgedale Presbyterian Church.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
