John D. Quimby

SOUTH BEND — John D. Quimby, 87, of Dade City, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Sunday in his home of natural causes. Survivors include his wife, Stella; a son, John M. of South Bend; two stepsons, Bill Gibson of Cascade, Idaho, and Robert Gibson of Lennon, Mich.; three sisters, Lillian Katona of Dade City, Mary Lou Whiting of South Bend and Pat Reader of Indianapolis; and a brother, Lester of South Bend. Graveside services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Oakley Funeral Home, Dade City, is handling arrangements.
