She married Joseph W. Quinlan on June 28, 1952. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1974. Pauline was also preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Grooms, Marie Vories and Mona Mahler; and her brothers, John and Charles Schmidt. She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Edward) Hardig and Mary Lou Wolfe; and by four grandchildren, Anne (Tony) Petrocelli, Edward (Juli) Hardig Jr., Peg (Dean) Riggs and Mary (Chris) Hazel; and by six great-grandchildren, Drew and Ben Riggs, Grace and Lucy Hardig, and Jacob and Emma Hazel. She was employed for 31 years by Indiana Bell Telephone Company - now SBC - and retired in 1964 as Repair Service Supervisor. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Little Flower Church and the Christ Child Society. Life was not always easy for Pauline and then she met Joe. She was a hard worker, a loyal friend, and a good mom. She was fun loving and family was most important to her. We will miss her great smile and wonderful attitude. Pauline's family extends a special thanks to the entire staff at Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center for the love and care they gave her during her stay with them.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 14, in Little Flower Catholic Church with Rev. Andrew Leveille, C.S.C. Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the HICKEY Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, where a prayer service will be said at 4 p.m. Her family graciously requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Christ Child Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
