Gilbert Racine: (South Bend Tribune 12/26/1987)

Gilbert Racine, 58, of 2811 Grape Road, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in his home. He was born March 31, 1929, in Blue Island, Ill, and lived in South Bend for most of his life. Surviving are two sons, Greg of South Bend and Randy of Indianapolis, four grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Racine of  Mishawaka and Jacqueline Hoffman of South Bend; and his mother, Agnes Racine of South Bend. Hollis Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
