Casimer A. Radecki

November 12, 1906January 14, 1987

 

Casimer A. Radecki, 80, of 3006 Rue Renoir, died at 10am Wednesday in his home of a self-inflicted gunshot would in the head, according to Deputy Coroner James McMeel.

 

He was born November 12, 1906, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  On April 29, 1929, in South Bend, he married the former Marie Cwidak, who died in 1969.  On December 1, 1973, in South Bend, he married the former Virginia Stachowiak, who survives.  Also surviving are a daughter, Marcia Piekarski of Fort Wayne; a stepdaughter, Shirleyann Horvath of Granger; three grandchildren; three sisters, Leona Jozwiak of South Bend, Alice Balint of Houston and Irene Orbin of Elkhart; and three brothers, Edward and Clement, both of South Bend, and Thaddeus of Niles.

 

Services will be at 10am Saturday at St Adalbert’s Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Friday at the St Joseph Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 7:30pm.  Mr. Radecki had retired from ITT Services, where he was a security guard.
