MISHAWAKA - Services for Anita Ransberger, 70, of West 14th Street, who died about 10:09 p.m. Thursday in her home after an illness, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Bavo's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.

MISHAWAKA - Anita Ransberger, 70, of West 14th Street, died about 10:09 p.m. Thursday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Ransberger retired in 1980 from School City of Mishawaka as a cook at Emmons School and was a former employee of Uniroyal Plastics Co. She was born May 5, 1923, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong area resident. On July 26, 1947, in Mishawaka, as Anita Giacomini, she married Everett Ransberger. He survives, with two daughters, Lynn Sobecki of Niles and Laura Ransberger of South Bend; two sons, Paul of Indianapolis and Mark of Breckenridge, Colo.; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Julia Bupp and Delores Verbeke, both of Mishawaka; and two brothers, Ralph and Guerino Giacomini, both of Mishawaka. She was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
