MISHAWAKA - Charles T. Redburn, 83,
of 500 Lincoln Way E., died at 2 p.m. Thursday in Countryside
Place. Mr. Redburn was a former cook on a petroleum drilling
platform in the Gulf of Mexico. He was born Aug. 23, 1911, in
Patoka, Ill.
He is survived by a daughter, Jeannie Hollmes
of Mishawaka; a son, John R. of South Bend; six grandchildren;
and eight great-grandchildren. He was an Army veteran of World
War II and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of
Foreign Wars.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Bubb
Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Chapel
Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call two hours before
services in the funeral home.
