MISHAWAKA - Charles E. Redman, 38, of Wabash, Ind., formerly of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, in the Wabash Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Friday evening in Wabash.

 

On Oct. 4, 1980, in St. Monica Church, Mishawaka, Chuck married the former Terri Schimizzi, who also passed away from her injuries sustained in the accident, on Saturday, Sept. 5.

 

Chuck was born on Oct. 1, 1959, in Mishawaka, to Charles K. and Sally (Spencer) Redman of Mishawaka who survive. He is also survived by a sister, Christine Redman and her fiance, Jay Forslund of Mishawaka; a brother and his wife, Kevin and Lara Redman of Osceola, Ind.; three nieces, Brittany, Bailey and Kendall Redman of Osceola; and by his paternal grandmother, Catherine Redman of South Bend.

 

Chuck was a senior vice president at the First Federal Bank of Wabash and a CPA. He was a graduate of Indiana University at South Bend.

 

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday in St. Monica Church, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. and a wake service held at 7:30 p.m. in the church.

 

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the church with Fr. William Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Monica Church.
