Services for Brother Crispin Reeb CSC, 77, who died Saturday in Dujarie House at the University of Notre Dame, will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Chapel of the Holy Cross Brothers Center with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, also at the Center. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Brothers Center Chapel, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. and a wake at 7:30 p.m.

 

Brother Reeb was born May 30, 1912 in Columbus, Ohio, and entered the Congregation of Holy Cross on Nov. 5, 1933. He is survived by five nieces and four nephews. He made his first profession of vows Aug. 16, 1935 and professed his vows Aug. 16, 1938. He was first assigned to Sacred Heart Juniorate in Watertown, Wis. Other assignments included Notre Dame; St. Edward’s University, Austin, Texas; St. Joseph Novitiate, Rolling Prairie, Ind.; Rancho San Antonio, Chadsworth, Calif.; St. Francis High School, Mountainview, Calif.; and St. Joseph Farm, Granger. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
