Mrs. Alma Reiter: (South Bend Tribune 12/7/1956)

Mrs. Alma Reiter, of 302 S. Scott St., died Thursday morning in St. Joseph Hospital. She was born in Chicago Aug. 12, 1874, and had lived in South Bend since 1908, coming here from Cadillac, Mich. She is survived by two sons, J. Kenneth, of South Bend, and Homer F., of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends may call after noon Saturday in the Hickey Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph C. Corcoran, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Reiter was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, the Circle of Mercy and the Altar and Rosary Society. The parish Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.  Sunday and the Altar and Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 3 p.m. Sunday, both in the funeral home.
