Mrs. Peter Remery
Mrs. Peter Remery, aged 78, of 1110 West Jefferson
Boulevard died at 4:40 p.m. Monday in her residence after an illness of five and
one-half months. She was born in
Mierel, Belgium, Feb. 10, 1870, and came here 55 years ago from that
country. As Elizabeth Den Haese she
was married to Peter Remery in Ghent, Belgium in 1891. He survives. Other survivors are three daughters,
Miss Angela, Miss Martha and Mrs. Palmyra Vanden Bossche, all of South Bend, and
four grandchildren. Friends may
call in the Hickey funeral home after 7 p.m. today and until funeral services at
9 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic church. Rev. Edmond J. Phillippe, pastor will
officiate. Burial will be in Cedar
Grove cemetery. She was a member of
the Rosary society of the church.
The rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. in Sacred Heart Church
