Martha A. Rensberger

Martha Adeline Rensberger, 75, of Mishawaka, passed from this life Monday afternoon, November 28, 2005, in Fountainview Place of Mishawaka.

 

Martha was born to the late Marion and Della Taulbee on October 18, 1930, in Jackson, Kentucky. She married Charles Rensberger of Nappanee on December 26, 1951, and he preceded her in death in 1985. Martha was also preceded in death by one sister, one half sister and two half brothers.

 

Martha's surviving family includes two brothers, George Taulbee of South Bend and Venon Taulbee of Fox Lake, Illinois; one half sister, Emma Brumbeck of Covington, Kentucky; one half brother, James Taulbee, also of Covington; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, including Debra Ruth, who cared for Martha in recent years.

 

Martha retired in 1987 from Nylon Craft after many years of service. She also served as a union steward for the Teamsters at Nylon Craft. Martha enjoyed eating at Wayne's Place and calling former Mayor Beutter about city issues.

 

Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Thallemer, Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 West Third Street, Mishawaka, with Pastor Brad Windlan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
