"Widow of Civil WAr Veteran Dies at Age 85

Mrs. Martha Rhineholt, aged 85 of of 511 East Broadway, who died at 8:45 o'clock Friday Evening in her home. She had been ill for nine days. Mrs. Rhineholt had lived in Mishawaka for 25 years.

She was born Feb. 2, 1849 in Belleville, O. She came here in 1909 from Scott, O. As Miss Martha Wirick she was married in 1867 in Belville to David Rhineholt, who died in 1913.

surviving are two daughters and three sons, Mrs. Rida Beach of Scott, Mrs. Fern Click of Mishawaka, Forrest Rhineholt of Scott, Roy Rhinehalt of Paulding, O, and Landon Rhineholt of Mishawaka.

Two sisters also survive Mrs. Jennie Kirkland of Samaria, Mich. and Mrs. Amanda Armstrong of Mansfield, O. Mrs. Rhineholt is survied by 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The body may be viewed in the Fred H. Bubb chapel until the time of the funeral Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. E. W. Stants, of the Firch Church of Christ, Scientist, south Bend will conduct the service in the Bubb chapel. Burial will be in the city Cemetery. Mrs. Rhineholt was the widow of a Civil War Veteran.
