Anna K. Riba

February 22, 1916September 21, 1993

 

Anna K. Riba, 77, of Greenview Street, died at 2am Tuesday in her home of natural causes.  Mrs. Riba was a crossing guard employed by the South Bend Police Department for 35 years.

 

She was born February 22, 1916, in Wisconsin, and lived in South Bend most of her life.  On June 1, 1940, in South Bend, as Anna K. Sayer, she married Boldie L. Riba.  He died December 7, 1980.  She is survived by a son, John E. of South Bend; two grandchildren; a great grandchild; two sisters, Pauline Payne of South Bend and Dorothy Peck of Mission TX; and a brother, Eugene Sayer of South Bend.

 

Services will be at 10am Friday in Holy Family Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Friends may call form 2 to 8pm Thursday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a combined rosary will be said at 3pm by St Anne Society and Sacred Heart and Rosary Society, both of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church.
