Aline Rich

Mishawaka - A four month illness with heart disease caused the death at 5 a.m. today of Mrs. Aline Fisher Rich, aged 45, of 213 Race Street, who for more than 15 years was a dancing instructor in the Fine Arts Studio of South Bend and the Mishawaka Conservatory of Arts. She had been inactive in her profession since 1941. Mrs. Rich passed away in her residence.

 

Born Oct. 4, 1896, in Paulding County, Ohio, she lived in Mishawaka since. She was married Feb. 22, 1941, in South Bend to Daniel Rich, who survives. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. R. P. Moody, of Dresden, Ohio; Mrs. E. J. France, of Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Paul Vogler of Mishawaka, and Mrs. C. E. Harris of Siren, Wis., and one brother, Kay Fisher of Columbus, Ohio.

 

The body may be viewed at the Thallemer Funeral Home until 9 a.m. Friday, when services will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. George Lauer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Rich was a member of the Rosary Sodality of St. Joseph’s Church. Members of the Rosary society will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Thallemer Funeral Home to recite the rosary.
