Callie D. Riley

March 12, 1910 – August 31, 1984

Services for Callie D. Riley, 74, of Minneapolis, formerly of South Bend, who died Friday in University Hospital MN, will be at 1pm Friday in Spiritual Israel Church and Its Army.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Thursday in Clark’s Funeral Chapel.

She was born March 12, 1910, in Sallis MS and moved to South Bend in 1952 from Memphis TN.  On December 18 1930, in Durant MS, she married George W. Riley.  He died January 5, 1984. 

Surviving are four daughters, Carrie McKinney of South Bend, and Lucille Riley, Lottie Riley and Janet Riley, all of Minneapolis; five sons, Rev. Charlie Jones of Ann Arbor MI, William “Buddy” Riley of South Bend, George W. Jr. and James Riley, both of Minnespolis, and Robert Riley of Earle AR; 35 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was a member of the church and the Mother’s Board of the church.
