SOUTH BEND - Elsie M. Riley, 68, of
Butternut Road, died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary Community
Hospital. Mrs. Riley retired from Americana Holiday Inn. She was
born Feb. 26, 1927, in Belle Center, Ohio, and had lived in South
Bend since 1958.
On July 15, 1949, in South Bend, as Elsie Davis,
she married Patrick Riley. He survives with a son, Roy Sine
of Bellefontaine, Ohio; two grandchildren; four sisters, Pauline
Davis, Frances Mills and Betty Dytom, all of
Bellefontaine, and Shirley De Cook of South Bend; and
three brothers, George Davis of Waynesfield, Ohio, Raymond Davis
of Almont, Ala., and Virgil Davis of North Liberty.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St.
Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the
funeral home.
