Glenn A. Robinson

Glenn A. Robinson, 74, of East LaSalle Avenue, South Bend, Ind., passed away after an illness on Wednesday, July 1, in his residence. He was born on Nov. 30, 1923, in Mishawaka, Ind., to M. Glenn and Alice (Strode) Robinson, who have both preceded him in death. On Jan. 1, 1947, Glenn married the former Betty J. Cordtz (a 1940 South Bend Central High School graduate) in South Bend. She also preceded him in death on June 26, 1986. He is survived by a son, Lee Alan Robinson of Rancho Cordova, Calif., and by a grandson. Glenn was a 1942 graduate of Mishawaka High School. He retired in 1984 after 14 years as a buyer for the Mittler Supply Company in South Bend. He was a member of the Robert Blum Lodge 278 IOOF and the American Turners Club.

 

A memorial gathering of family and friends will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 10, in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Entombment of his cremains will follow in the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Lung Association.
