Ruth L. Robinson

Ruth L. Robinson, 96, of Concord Court, Mishawaka, Ind., died of natural causes on Sunday, Jan. 30, in St. Joseph Com-munity Hospi-tal, Mishawa-ka.

She was born on Sept. 29, 1903, in South Bend, Ind., to Lillie (BonDurant) and Melvin Seybold, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Hambright, Mabel Galbraith and Hilda Lovelace. On Aug. 25, 1923, in South Bend, as Ruth L. Seybold, she married Eugene P. Robinson, who also preceded her in death on April 6, 1958.

She is survived by a daughter, Joan Loughridge of South Bend; a son, Richard (Winnie) Robinson of Edwardsburg, Mich.; four grandchildren, Janis Robinson, Helen Wright, Paul (Jenny) Loughridge and Patty Loughridge; and by a great-grandson, Johnny Wright.

Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, South Bend, where she was a member since 1912, and was the church's oldest living member both in age and membership. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 2 and the Shrine Club Auxiliary. She was a graduate of South Bend High School and the South Bend College of Commerce.

Memorial services for Mrs. Robinson will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, at the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street, South Bend. Rev. Daniel Clark from Westminster Presbyterian Church will conduct the memorial services.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial services. Burial has taken place in Bowman Cemetery, South Bend.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2211 North Oak Park Avenue, Chicago, IL 60707; or to the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1501 West Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN 46628.
