Hazel Roesti

SOUTH BEND - Hazel Roesti, 88, of
Westmont, Ill., formerly of South Bend, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday
in Burgess Square Care Center, Westmont. Mrs. Roesti retired in
1972 from Dodge Manufacturing Co., Mishawaka, after 20 years of
service as an executive secretary. She was born May 24, 1907, in
Mount Carmel, Ill.
On June 1, 1926, in Mount Carmel, as Hazel Morse,
she married Rev. Ernest F. Roesti. He died in 1962. She is
survived by two daughters, Lois Wisthuff of LaGrange and
Betty Buck of Longview, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and
five great-grandchildren. She was a member of Maple Lane United
Methodist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bubb
Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley
Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call two hours before
services on Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions
may be made to Oakwood Foundation Chapel Restoration Fund, in
care of Rev. Wilson Parks, 5952 Barcus Way, South Bend, IN 46614.
