NEW CARLISLE - Betty E. Rogers, 83, of New Carlisle, IN, passed away at 8:10 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor. Betty was born on March 10, 1925, in Clay City, IN, to Harry and Hester Ingole. She lived in New Carlisle for 67 years. Betty was formerly employed with Easy Heat.

In 1942, as Betty E. Ingole, she married Charles L. Rogers, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Sandy Davis of New Carlisle, IN and Dennis (Jean) Rogers of New Carlisle, IN; eight grandchildren, Debra (Paul) Sult, Kimberly (Daniel) Creech, Robert (Chari) Hollingsworth, John Hollingsworth, Kenneth (Mary) Davis, Charles (Lisa) Rogers, Donald (Michelle) Rogers, Erica (Brett) Schascheck; 16 great-grandchildren, Crystal Sult, Kyle Sult, Jennifer Dolezal, Ashley Creech, Jessica Kline, Jarek Hollingsworth, Dustin Hollingsworth, Sean Rogers, Shannon Rogers, Colin Rogers, Zeena Rogers, Jasmine Schascheck, Jackie Schascheck, Jaycee Schascheck, and Jeanie Schascheck; five great-great-grandchildren, Tasha Martin, Lane Sult, Chancellor Dolezal, Brandon Dolezal, and Phoebe Dolezal; one great-grandchild; and two great-grandchildren that are due soon; one sister, Patricia Zeisig of LaPorte, IN; and by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 EST, Saturday, April 19, 2008, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert Street, New Carlisle, IN. Burial will follow in the New Carlisle Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 until 11 a.m., EST on Saturday in the funeral home. Betty was a member of the New Carlisle Community Church and the American Legion Post #297 Ladies Auxiliary. "She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her great-great-grandchildren". Memorial contributions may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses.
