Jennifer L. Rokop (Sept. 13, 1964 - May 28, 1999)

Jennifer L. (Schmieder) Rokop, 34, of South Bend, Ind., passed away early Friday, May 28, in her residence.

Jennifer was born on Sept. 13, 1964, in Fort Knox, Ky., and had lived most of her life in South Bend. She was employed as an office manager with Termiguard.

She is survived by her two children, Shelby Low at home, and Stephen Rokop of South Bend; and by her mother, Ann Schmieder of South Bend.

Jennifer was a member of the Polish National Alliance #83. She was an avid bowler and past league secretary at Chippewa Bowl in South Bend, was a member of the Women's Bowling Association, and was a tournament bowler for the Polish National Alliance. She was a 1982 graduate of St. Joseph High School, and was also a member of the Studie's Lounge softball team.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
