Esther L. Ronconi

Sept. 7, 1919 – June 18, 1977

MISHAWAKA - Mrs. Esther L. Ronconi, 57, of 822 Somerset, was dead on arrival at 10:10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital, where she was taken in the city ambulance from her home. She had been in failing health for three years. She was born Sept. 7, 1919 in Lakeville and had lived in this area throughout her life. She had been employed for the past five years at the Golden Age Manor Nursing Home.

 

In June 1949, as Esther Henke she married Edward Ronconi in Mishawaka. He died in 1952.Surving are a son Edward R. Ronconi of Mishawaka, five sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Shuppert of South Bend, Mrs. Ruth Bariarz of Worth, Ill., Mrs. Joyce Humphrey of Edwardsburg, Mrs. Marjorie Wharton of Merryville and Mrs. June Gygi of Osceola; and three brothers, Kenneth of Edwardsburg, William R. of South Bend and Charles of Truth or Consequences. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Stephen Cvaniga, pastor of St. Bavo’s Catholic Church, will offficiate with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
