MISHAWAKA – Renalto A. “Nello” Ronconi, 76, of 307 W. 12th Street, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital. He retired from Uniroyal in 1978 after 48 years of service. He was born April 26, 1913 in Ederton, Ind., and had lived in this area since 1928 coming from Ederton.

 

Surviving are two sisters, Gilda Tusing of Fort Wayne and Inez Jo Miller of South Bend; a brother Louis Elmo of Mishawaka; two nieces and two nephews.

 

He was a member of DeAmicis Club, VFW 360, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Mishawaka Lodge2083 and St. Bavo’s Catholic Church, and was a World War II Army veteran.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Hahn-DeVos Funeral Home where a wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m.. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bavo’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
