MISHAWAKA - Loren W. Rosander, 72, of Bowman Drive, Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 6 a.m. Sunday, September 21st, at home. Loren was born February 11, 1936, in South Bend, to the late Otto W. and Marie Elizabeth (Ozdyc) Rosander. On January 24, 1959, in St. Patrick's Church, South Bend, Loren married Dolores "Dee" J. Hiner, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Cynthia M. (Guy) Meixel of Mishawaka and Lorie E. Rosander (partner, Tad Dicks) of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also surviving are three granddaughters, Ashley E., Amy N. and Christine M. Meixel. Surviving are two sisters, Phyllis Nozykowski and Charlotte Smith, and one brother, Darwin "Dike" Rosander, all of South Bend. Loren was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Arlene Shepherd, and two brothers, James and Roland Rosander. Loren proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956. He retired from owning Repair Masters due to poor health in 2003.

 

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, IN, where funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Gene Eckerly officiating the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
