MISHAWAKA - Kathleen M. Ross, 85, of Mishawaka, died
Friday, March 23, 2007, at 7:05 a.m. in Memorial Hospital in
South Bend, IN. Kathleen was born May 19, 1921, in Winnipeg,
Canada, to the late William and Elizabeth Cheverton. She
was also preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
On June 14, 1980, in Mishawaka, she married
Russell Ross. He died on September 12, 1998. Surviving are a son,
Dennis J. Schwartz of Mishawaka, IN; a grandson, Jim
(Julie) Schwartz, a great-granddaughter, Jennifer Jo Schwartz;
and a great-grandson, J.T. Schwartz, all of Granger, IN; a
step-daughter, Judy (John) Rhoades of Safford, AZ, and two
step-sons, Terry (Jayne) Ross of Mishawaka and Doug (Nancy) Ross.
Also surviving is a nephew, William Cheverton of Florida.
The family will receive friends on
Wednesday, March 28, from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at
11 a.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. Larry
Whitehead is officiating. Interment with private family services
will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, IN. Kathleen was a
property manager in Hobart, IN, prior to coming to Mishawaka in
1980. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church
in Mishawaka. The family has requested that memorial
contributions in memory of Kathleen be made to the First United
Methodist Church, 201 E. Third St. Mishawaka, IN 46544.
