Teresa Rulli, 103, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2003.

Mrs. Rulli was born on January 15, 1900, in Locri, Italy, to Felice and Maria (Bufalo) LaRosa. On January 15, 1927, in Locri, Italy, as Teresa LaRosa, she married Vito Rulli, who preceded her in death on May 30, 1981.

Surviving are her three sons, Anthony J. Rulli of South Bend, IN, Felix S. (Catherine) Rulli of South Bend, IN, James W. Rulli of Columbus, OH; her ten grandchildren, Michelle (James) Gates, Rev. Vito (Amy) Rulli, Victorio (Pamela) Rulli, Cathy (Bill) Kazmierczak, Fr. Joseph Rulli, Terri Rulli, Nina Rulli, Nicholas (Amy) Rulli, Jeremiah Rulli, Elise (George) Creamens; her twelve great-grandchildren, Jamie, Cari, Raymundo, Stephen, Daniel, Micah, Allison, Marie, Michael, Averi, Jacob and Taylor; and by her seven great-great-grandchildren, Joseph, Brandis, Kaley, Kaitelyn, Nathan, Gavin and Tony.

Preceding her in death were her sisters and brothers who resided in Italy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2003, in Holy Cross Church, with her grandson, Fr. Joseph Rulli, officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a Rosary/vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Rulli was a member of Holy Cross Parish. She was an avid seamstress making clothing for friends and family, including her grandson's religious vestments.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
