Daisy Marie Runyan, 73 of Bergan
Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 5:40 a.m. on Saturday,
July 17, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, after an
illness. Daisy was born on April 14, 1926 in Mishawaka, Ind., and
was a lifelong area resident. She retired in 1984, from the
Uniroyal Corporation, after 39 years of service.
Survivors include a son, Thomas L.
(Virginia) Runyan of South Bend; three grandchildren,
Christopher, Brian, and Amanda Runyan of South Bend; a sister,
Cedola Smith of Lansing, Mich.; and three brothers,
Robert, Gene and Dewayne Klopenstine, all of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in
the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where
friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Chapel
Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. Memorials may be made to the
American Lung Association.
