Sister Mary Blesila CSC, of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, died in Saint Mary’s Convent Monday. She was born as Agnes Elizabeth Ryan in Chicago in 1883. She graduated from St. Mary’s College. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1911, receiving the habit the same year and making her profession of vows in 1917.She was teacher and prefect of the junior department of St. Mary'’ College until retirement.

Funeral services and internment will be held at the motherhouse of the Congregation on Wednesday.
