1882 – February 4, 1953

Frank F. Rynearson, Rt. 4, died at 1:10am today in his residence after an illness of one year.

He was born in South Whitley IN in 1882 and came to South Bend 50 years ago.  He was employed with the South Bend Water Department 48 years.

He is survived by his widow, the former Vertia Rickey; six daughters, Mrs. Lester Meyers, Mishawaka; Mrs. Donald Hooten and Mrs. Edward Hermann, South Bend; Mrs. Clarence Crill, Phoenix AZ; Mrs. Joseph Farkas, Dowagiac MI and Mrs. Lonnie Utley, Crown Point IN; three sons, Carl, Earl and Lloyd, South Bend; three brothers, Ollie, Waltonville IL; George, Auburn IN and Floyd, Corunna IN; two sisters, Mrs. Nora McDonald, Corunna, and Miss Lottie Rynearson, Kenosha WI; four step brothers, George Shade, North Liberty; Ellsworth Shade, Archie Bald, OH; Frank Shade, Toledo OH, and Melvin Shad, Hillsdale MI; 26 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Friends may call in the Hollis Funeral Home after 7pm Thursday.  The funeral will be held in Christ Chapel Church at 2pm Saturday, Rev. Ray Jones officiating.  Burial will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery.
