Chester A Sanders

April 19, 1890 – February 28, 1966

Chester Allan Sanders, 75, of 2721 S Main St., died at 6:30am today in his home after an illness of two years.

Mr. Sanders was born on April 19; 1890, in Crawfordsville.  He had resided in the area for 40 years.  On July 2, 1911, he married Mae Lane, who survives.  Also surviving are a son, Charles A., of South Bend, and a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Niedbalski, of South Bend; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the Forest G Hay and Son Funeral Home.  Services will be at 1:30pm Wednesday in the funeral home and burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.  Rev. Ernest Peters, retired Methodist minister, will officiate.  Mrs. Sanders was owner of the C & C Auto Sales, South Bend, for many years.  He retired ten years ago.
