Anna B. Sarka, 91, of South Bend, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 4:55 p.m. in her residence. Ann was born on Sept. 24, 1914, in South Bend, to Michael and Katherine Radics.

On Sept. 22, 1934, in South Bend, Ann married Charles A. Sarka, who passed away on Nov. 8, 1994. Her parents along with sisters, Theresa Radecki and Irene Raber, and brothers, Joseph and Michael Radics, have also preceded her in death. Anna is survived by daughters, Carolyn (the late Earl) O'Shaughnessy of Dearborn, Mich., and Charlene (Joseph D. Jr.) Barnette of Carmel, Ind.; sisters, Helen (Floyd) Kuzan of Mishawaka and Catherine (the late Walter) Grabowski of Mishawaka; brother, Frank (Jeanette) Radics of Sun City, Ariz.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Turner, Kathleen (Ian) Mulford, Adam O'Shaughnessy, John Barnette, Michael Barnette and Anne Barnette; and four great-grandchildren, David and Madeline Mulford, and Sophie and Charlotte Turner.

Ann was a member of St. Matthew Cathedral. There will be a private memorial service at a later date. St. Joseph Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
