Mishawaka - Edwin N. Sarkisan, 79, of Wabash, Avenue, died at 8:50 a.m. Monday in Fountainview Place. He retired in 1978 from Uniroyal Plastics Co. after 47 years of service. He was born Nov. 19, 1914, in Arlington Heights, Mass., and lived in Mishawaka most of his life.

On June 26, 1937, in Mishawaka, he married Dora M. Walters. She survives with four daughters, Doreen Mesecar of South Bend, and Marna Stebbins, Ann Roeder and Lori Sarkisan, all of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; two step-children; two great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Bucci of Massachusetts and Candida Smith of South Bend; and a brother, Edward of Massachusetts. He was a member of Uniroyal Foremans Club and the First Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
